  • VJ Salomone is involved in the energy business.  VJS was successful in assisting Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Company to win the tender for the supply of two boilers for the Marsa electricity power station.
  • VJS was again successful in assisting HOLEC win a contract for the supply and installation of EHV switchgear for the DELIMARA Power Station phase 1 and phase 2.
  • A second 132kv switchgear contract was subsequently awarded to HOLEC for the Marsa South sub station.
  • VJS recently acted as consultant to Socoin Ingeniera in the controversial 100mw power plant project.  Socoin was short listed but then withdrew its participation as it could not meet the deadlines due to having just secured several investment projects in South America.
  • VJS also acted as consultant to consortium partners in the pre-qualification stage for the procurement of a HVAC submarine electrical inter connector linking Malta to the European power grid in Sicily.
